《Control Resonant》创意总监 Mikael Kasurinen 表示，续作更聚焦 Dylan 与故事的情感旅程，因此没有采用 Old Gods of Asgard 乐队音乐。Kasurinen 认为，带有强烈音乐驱动色彩的《Ashtray Maze》风格更适合初代游戏；虽然续作中仍能看到乐队海报，但收录的音乐来自前作《Control》和《Alan Wake 2》。
